.410 Bore Shotgun

Extremely rare high grade Yildiz 410 side by side shotgun. This is an A4 Elegant Special Lux, not commonly imported into Australia. This gun features a 4140 chrome molybdenum receiver with side plates. It IS NOT an aluminium receiver as found on lower grade models. All engraving is completed by hand and very deep. The stock is a grade 5 walnut, with a few minor bruises. The gloss blued 28" barrels are choked 1/2 & Full and have one small rub mark. Bores are mirror perfect. Gun features a single selective trigger, splinter fore end, extractors and 3" chambers. Weight is approximately 5lb 2oz. Done little work, reflected in the solid lock up and position of top lever. This is an early example with a low serial number. It was a private import out of Scotland by an Australian fella working in the oil industry at the time. It was purchased new in Scotland in the late 1990's, I believe. This is a solidly made but lively gun. New replacement price is around $6k now. Priced to refect good value and a sound investment.
