$5,900.00
price as of 24 Oct 2026
This is a unique purpose built law enforcement firearm. The rifle was manufactured in 1981 and then immediately converted by Laser Products Corp of Fountain Valley California USA ( later to become the Surefire Corporation) to include a laser under the barrel with custom stock, internal wiring, and 14.4 volt nicad batteries housed in a butt compartment. The laser is activated by the first trigger pressure. The batteries allowed up to 60 minutes of continuous use of the laser. The rifles were built between 1979 and 1984 and sold only to Law Enforcement including LAPD ( Los Angeles Police Department) for use during the Los Angeles Olympic Games. Research suggests that less than 50 of these rifles were ever built. This rifle was bought by the NSW Government and issued to the Department of Corrective Services for use by the Metropolitan Emergency Unit in Sydney - the tactical response arm of the Corrective Services Dept. The letters, MEU, are engraved on the cocking handle. The rifle is fully functional however there are no batteries for the laser. This rifle is classified as prohibited in NSW so check your state regs.
