Rare 1995 CZ 75 late transitional Pre-B model in rare factory Satin Nickel finish. Club legal with 124mm barrel length. 1 x 10-round NSW-compliant magazine. CZ rubber grips installed. The original factory Satin Nickel finish on a 1995 transitional model makes it particularly scarce Authentic factory nickel variants are highly prized among CZ enthusiasts today because they provide a stunning, durable aesthetic coupled with the superior trigger mechanics of a blockless Pre-B system. The 1995 CZ 75 Pre-B Transitional in Satin Nickel is a highly desirable, cross-generation variant manufactured during the final phase of CZ's evolution from the original design to the modern "B" model. It bridges the gap between the classic Pre-B aesthetics and the upgraded CZ 75 B frame. Because Česká zbrojovka transitioned its production lines gradually between 1992 and 1995, firearms from this brief window carry a fascinating blend of components. Key Technical Specifications & Features • No Firing Pin Block: This is the most crucial mechanical distinction. Unlike the standard CZ 75 B, the transitional model lacks the internal firing pin safety plunger. Because the trigger mechanism doesn't have to work against a safety plunger, these pistols are renowned for a significantly shorter, cleaner, and crisper trigger pull. • B-Style Frame Upgrades: While it functions mechanically like a Pre-B, visually it adopts several features of the modern frame, including a squared-off, serrated trigger guard and an officer-style round ring hammer (instead of the traditional Pre-B spur hammer). • Magazine Compatibility: One major quality-of-life advantage of the 1995 transitional model is the updated magwell. Original Pre-B pistols feature narrower magwells that do not accept modern magazines. Transitional models were widened to comfortably accept modern CZ 75 B magazines. • Upgraded Sights: It features a modern front sight post secured horizontally via a roll pin/cross pin rather than the old-style staked front sight, making replacement much easier. • Simplified Controls: The thumb safety design was updated to contain the safety detent and spring internally within the frame, omitting the small tool hole found on earlier safety selectors.
