Winchester Rifle

One for the collectors, this Model 65 was manufactured in 1933 which was the first year of production for this rifle. Based on a 92 action only about 5700 of these were ever made. I have never fired a shot through it in the time I have owned it. Bore is delightfully shiny with no pitting and the rifling is crisp and clean. These are extremely rare and desirable and this rifle is in outstanding original condition for it's age. Bluing is still rich and deep, slight wear at the muzzle end. Screws are not chewed and indicate that it has not been molested or been taken apart at any stage. The timber is in excellent overall condition with a few very minor dings and scratches commensurate with age. I would list this rifle as 80-85% as far as condition. This unique rifle is a rare piece and if you are a serious collector, don't miss out on this as the chance may not come again soon. Buyer to pay shipping to your dealer please and I prefer text messages. More photos available on request. This is a serious collector piece so if you're going to use it for cowboy action, don't bother contacting me please.
