This old girl is a true piece of history and getting harder to find—especially in honest condition like this, with matching serial numbers for the scope and rifle. A bit of history: The SMLE Mk III* was the backbone of the Australian and British forces through WWI and well into WWII. Rifles produced at Lithgow are particularly sought after, being Australia’s own wartime production.
