.303 British Rifle

Genuine Lee Enfield No.4 (T) sniper Rifle was purchased as a stripped No.4(T) barreled action from Lawrance Ordnance, and meticulously rebuilt from all original (T) parts, excluding the forestock which is a reproduction. Bolt body is a NOS unserialised, and has been fitted with correctly headspaced NOS bolt head. Scope is an original No. 32 Mk. 1 scope with original sun shade. Scope was refurbished by Optical Repairs in Brisbane (repair paperwork can be supplied to buyer on request). Scope tin and repair tool are well made reproductions. Rifling and crown in great condition. The barrel and action are marked "DP" for drill purpose; however, neither have been milled / deactivated. Please do your own research on what this means. From what i have been told the barreled action was sourced from India and was likely marked DP for obsolescence and ease of storage rather than defect. I have had the rifle thoroughly inspected and test fired by a gunsmith, and i have personal put ~90 rounds of handloaded Mk7 equivalent ammo through it without issue. Its a beautiful rifle, and when restoring i chose to use DP marked timber to celebrate what she is, and not wanting to pass her off as something else.
