We understand Geoff imported the Bauska action and had the rifle made as a hunting for himself. The Bauska Action, often known as the BBK-02, is a highly respected, heavy-duty magnum Mauser-style bolt action. Designed and custom-built by the late Les Bauska in Kalispell, Montana, USA. The BBK-02 action is uniquely tailored for large, dangerous game cartridges like the .416 Rigby. It features a double-square bridge for secure scope mounting, a solid left wall, and an integral "C" ring and is equipped with a Winchester Model 70-style three-position safety and a third locking lug. Beautifully figured select grade walnut stock with buffalo horn forend tip by Geoff Slee. Pistol grip - with engraved steel grip cap with trap door. Right hand cheek piece, fine diamond point chequer with mullered border. Tapered blue barrel with ramped blade foresight and quarter rib with one folding leaf and one standing rear sight. Barrel band with sling eye.
