$900.00
price as of 23 Oct 2026
This rifle has been in my collection since April 1997, and is a genuine example of a BSA Lee Enfield No. 1 Mark 111, being of English manufacture during 1917. The rifle presents in sound original condition with both the metal work and full length wooden stock in very good condition. The barrel is also in very good condition, having strong, crisp rifling with no sign of pitting or corrosion. During my ownership, the rifle has not been fired and has been maintained on a regular basis. While both the receiver and sight numbers are matching, the rifle has a mismatched authentic Australian made nose cap (stamped C37308). The bolt is a genuine WW11 Australian replacement, stamped 'OA 43' on the handle, showing it was manufactured at the Orange Feeder Annex in 1943, and bears the MA (Munitions Australia) mark on the bolt lug. Should the rifle be sold locally, 48 rounds of military surplus ammo (still in original packet), will be included in the sale. Please note that the purchaser will be responsible for brokerage fees, and any postage fees if required. The sale price is negotiable and should you require any additional photos or information, they can be provided on request
